“I have been building successful businesses since 2005.”
ecurie25
I started ecurie 25 (now Auto Vivendi) in 2005 as a private members club for supercar enthusiasts. Members joined for an annual fee, and in doing so got access to the club's garage of supercars from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin and others.
I sold ecurie25 via trade sale in 2008.
Following the sale of ecurie25 I concluded that giving people access to supercars was great fun, but wasn’t really moving the world forward. I decided at that point I would dedicate the remainder of my career to building mission driven businesses which were focused on solving some of the world's many issues.
Pod Point
I made my personal objective to make Travel which doesn't damage the Earth, and founded Pod Point to help me deliver this. Over the next 14 years, I build the company from an idea in my notebook to the UK’s largest Electric Vehicle charging company with a turnover of over £70m
I built a team of over 600 people, I raised money from angels, crowd funding, venture capital, institutional capital, and then, in 2020, I sold the majority of Pod Point to EDF (the energy company). I remained CEO post acquisition, and in 2021, I led Pod Point through an IPO and listed the business onto the main London Stock Market.
I exited the business in 2023
Outside of work, I am happily married, with three children. In my spare time I love cycling, both on and off road.
